IT'S #100
It has taken me about 2 weeks to get through the last 2 entries to get to this point. I kept looking for the perfect background. Make that the perfect background where I could get my links to work. Tried making my own but...not that good yet. It involves alot of css and div and all of that stuff that I have absolutely no idea what to do.
So, here we are. A little over a year later.....Aug. 30 was a year....and, has anything changed? Not really. I have a new computer to pound out my frustrations on.
This was my very first entry. Not really a good image of what was to come: Ok......this is the first entry. I hope to change the template and make it more my own soon. Bear with me as the changes go on.
Then came my New Year's rant: I hope that the new year can bring just a little peace. It scares me that we, as a country, are being led by a man who will push, and push, and push until he gets the war he wants. I understand that we need to go after the group behind 9/11 but, we killed large numbers of people, destroyed a country and still didn't catch him. Now we have all these people in cages in Cuba cuz they MAY be related to the terrorist group. No charges, no plans of any, just lock them up. We have declared ourselves as the world's watchdog for terror......we have enough problems here without trying to run everybody else. Let's check out what kind of "weapons of mass destruction" we have. The biochemical agents we have tested on our own people.....the war heads that are only a few feet from the missles that can carry them. Yeah, we dismantled but, we sure didn't destroy. What gives us the right? We declare freedom for all but, if you are the wrong color, wrong ethnic background, wrong religion....try out that freedom.
Have my opinions changed? Not at all. In fact they may be more outspoken if anything at all.
Someone said that my son and I are too political and to ready to give our opinions vocally. I ask: What the hell is wrong with that? I would much prefer to have someone disagree with me and tell me so to my face than to agree with everything I say and then put me down behind my back. I have respect for other people's opinions.....even if they disagree with mine. at least they are being honest. At least they have enough balls to state them and some kind of conviction to back them up.
Well....now we start on 200...be happy...be peaceful...be honest....be loved.
